About me

I am a 2nd year Junior racing cyclist from Leeds in West Yorkshire. I am currently riding for Team HMT Hospitals Giant with a large focus on International races in 2019 in Poland, Spain, France and Belgium as well as at home in the UK. I am really motivated and looking forwards to this years racing and hope that I can do my team, sponsors and family proud!

I got in to cycling at the age of 10 after watching the 2011 Tour De France on T.V, more specifically stage 18 when I witnessed Andy Schleck's solo attack across the mountains. After this I started to ride a little more off road with my dad who was instrumental in furthering my love for cycling before getting my first road bike that Christmas, a Raleigh Airlite 100. After a couple years of riding, I started racing at my local Grass Track league (The West Riding Track League) at my local park in Roundhay. I continued progressing and racing from this to the White Rose Youth league and then Nationals before doing my first international race in Spain in 2017. This was just a few weeks before I won my first National race at the infamous Olivers Mount motorbike Circuit in Scarborough.

First National win
JR Vuelta a Pamplona
Now racing as a Junior, I gained my best results in 2018 in the JR Tour of Pamplona where i finished 7th overall and placed 3rd on the final stage and also at the Cadence JR National race in Wales where i finished 2nd. I hope to greatly build on this base of results that I gained in 2018 and hope that 2019 will be a successful season.

Team for 2019
